What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing that is used to create mind, body and spirit balance. Re = Universal, Kei = Energy. Reiki encourages proper movement within the body that alleviates symptoms of stagnant, pathological energy that can manifest in many forms. Some of the most common being insomnia, digestion issues, headaches and imbalances of the mental/emotional self.
Reiki is a tool that helps practitioners observe the health of the major organ systems of your body and assist it to returning to the state of homeostasis where the body is able to function properly and is equipped for it’s environment. One of the first things I see happen within the first few minutes of treatment is the breath begins to deepen and lengthen and the receiver begins to dip into bliss, deep comfort. This is a major indication that the body has switched into the calm and regulated parasympathetic state versus where we find ourselves staying in more and more often, the state that disrupts the regular flow of our organ systems, the sympathetic, aka fight or flight.
What is Medical Infiniqi?
Infiniqi is a form of energywork developed by the Ni Family, the family that founded my school Yo San University. Infiniqi utilizes the knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the awareness of our organ system that allows for a systematic approach to clearing and balancing our physical organs and soothe mental, emotional imbalances. It is both a hands-on and no touch practice that is soft and gentle. During the Bliss Sessions I will concentrate on certain areas of your body, stimulate acupuncture points and balance the flow of your body’s energetic channels.
Reiki & Western Medicine
Today many hospitals are offering Reiki as an alternative and/or supplement to Western medicine. It enhances the body’s ability to heal and to prevent some future occurrences of imbalance. An ever-growing number of hospitals offer Reiki services, including these prominent academic medical centers.

Why is it Called a Bliss Session?
To me, Bliss is a state of peace and ultimate comfort in your body. I make a point during each treatment to add elements that bring a sense of deep comfort in the body and mind. My goal is to create an experience devoted to giving you an environment to fully let go and receive pure love. Through the added practice of tension release, acupressure points and guided meditation in each session you will feel fully supported and nurtured.
Why is our energy body important?
Our physical bodies are made up of water and electricity and we each transmit a field of energy around us that represents the state of our physical, emotional and spiritual health. When we do things that are contradictory to our health it is reflected in our energetic field and much like an engine it needs to be kept clean. When we keep our energy body clear with practices like Reiki and Tai Chi we can experience clarity of thoughts, improved physical health and alignment with our personal path. The health of our energetic field is vital to our immunity and ability to fight off disease.
How often can I get Reiki?
Reiki is recommended to do on a regular basis. Blissee’s typically experience a shift in how they feel in the first session and will feel the effects for a few days afterwards. It is recommended to receive Reiki as part of your personal health routine in the degree that fits your lifestyle and goals. For some it may be weekly, for some it may be twice a month. I typically see my clients regularly and because of the time spent towards their three part health (mind, physical body & energetic body) we create profound results.

What do I need to do during reiki?
You don’t have to do anything but show up. The main principle behind Bliss Sessions is to melt your thoughts and tension into nothingness. The setup is very similar to what you’d see during a massage. There’s a massage table with comfy, snuggly coverings and you are guided to dip into a deep state of relaxation while you receive your treatment.
